Frequently Asked Questions
Penn Security Bank utilizes the latest encryption technology to ensure the security of your Online Banking transactions across the internet. Our Online Banking server uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol for data encryption and a VeriSign issued Digital ID along with a firewall to protect the traffic going to the server. We require customer specific access codes and passwords. We have also added an additional layer of protection to the login process to help ensure that you are protected during your online banking session by using a process where you will select an image called a Passmark™ and a phrase. When you login and you see the Passmark™ that you selected you will know that you are on our site and not a fraudulent site.
You must have internet access (Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or higher) with an SSL capable browser using 128 bit encryption is required.
